We have lived the hardest 44 days in the wilderness of our lives….*
Oh, no, we were not living, we were simply breathing…
Cruel war…
It took the life of our brave, courageous and wonderful fathers, brothers, husbands, friends.
I felt like I was God’s soldier in the prayer trench, but wounded, bleeding. You know how it feels when you don’t find words to pray, when you feel left all alone. When you cry for an
answer and don’t find it. I started recalling all the blessings and promises in the Bible and cry out to God “You have promised father, You have promised”.
The war was getting very tense, however.
Very often we are “grabbing” all the good promises, neglecting bad promises (warnings)
found in the bible (Matt. 24). We tend to think. “those warnings are not meant for us, they
won’t happen in my country, not with my nation”. And when we face it, we ask “Why God?
why me? Why us. That’s not fair”.
This was so devastating…
In the middle of this desert as a light in the darkness God’s PROMISE to me, to His
daughter, comes right INTO my heart.
Deuteronomy 31:6 – Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.
It doesn’t matter if we go through the hardship or enjoying our comfortable and blessed lives. The most important thing is that He is with us, wherever we go, whatever situation we face, He is with us.
I stood up again in my prayer trench. I felt stronger as never before. His grace covered
and empowered me.
Even though the situation now is disappointing, and we don’t know what the future holds,
but we know one thing for sure: He is on His throne! He is in control of all going on right
now! His will is perfect! He knows our situation and He will take care of it, as He is our
Abba father!

We know you were praying with us, for us all this time. Thank you for your prayers. Thank you very much.
Please continue to pray:
For the peace and unity inside our country (we should stick together now, as never before)
For the families who lost their dear ones in the war
For refugees from Artsakh (these people need support both spiritually and physically)
For our government (to be strong and make wise and godly decisions)
For the Christians in Armenia to keep strong, united and be persistent in prayers
The Lord gives strength to His people; the Lord blesses His people with
peace.
Psalm 29:11

Please join with me in praying for peace, the people of Armenia and the struggles they are facing today! Most of us in the West have not even heard of this war as we are engulfed in COVID-19, political uncertainty and social challenges. What seems so distant to us today—a world away—could even become reality much closer to home, apart from the protective hand of God.
