Guatemala Trip Video & Report

Thank you for praying for my recent Guatemala mission trip. It was a good, full eight days of service and outreach. The team did everything from painting a wall at a Christian school (Xela), to clearing trees and brush for a new fence and putting in a cement driveway at an orphanage.
The team, all from the men’s ministry at my church (Coast Hills) covered a fair portion of the country by van traveling from Guatemala City to Xela, and on to Panajachel, next Lake Atitlan which is surrounded by three volcanos. From there we took a water taxi across the lake to Santiago Atitlan, the town nearest to the orphanage where we worked for two days.
Outreaches included two men’s ministry events with local churches and serving at rehabilitation center for 30 men seeking to overcome drug and alcohol addiction. At the rehab center I was able to show the “JESUS” film.

A two-minute video was compiled to give some trip highlights, and I have posted it on my YouTube channel. Click on the picture above to watch.
