October Prayer Update

PRAISE:
In 2010, the ministry embarked on an ambitious goal to produce 865 more languages of ‘JESUS’ (50,000+ speakers). To date, God has enable us to finish 80% of them. And of the remaining 20%, many are more difficult to do, often in restricted nations. With the help of partners, we are not stopping. Please pray; these languages are spoken by people groups yet to be reached.
One of our focuses this month is for funding new languages of ‘JESUS’ (including Mission 865) to reach more people. Pray for these efforts, and for continued progress toward having our classic film in 2,200 languages by year-end.

PRAY:

  • For a colleague, Steve V., whose wife suddenly (and unexpectedly) passed from bone cancer. Pray for him, their two children, and their extended family. The celebration of Jan’s life is November 9.
  • Please pray for friends and colleagues in Israel. Their ministry includes aid and compassion outreach. The situation is not easy; Messianic Jews and Arab believers are praying together.
  • For the new Asia Film Equipment video to help supply needed projector and tablet sets for evangelism and discipleship across the region. A web shortened version can be viewed here.
  • For preparations for year-end efforts to resource film and church planting teams, follow-up, online evangelism, media broadcasting, SD cards, etc., so more people can be reached.

“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
— Romans 8:37-39 (NIV)
