March Prayer Update

Praise:

  • The classic “JESUS” film is now available in 2213 languages. The 2200th language is for a people group of about 300,000 in the Francophone West African nation of Côte d’Ivoire.
  • I continue to rejoice in God’s provision as I serve Him in full-time ministry; I am humbled by His blessing and grace.

Pray:

  • Please pray for JESUS recordings* being planned this month in a key West African country for premieres being scheduled in April or May 2025: Languages* are E., B. G., B. D. and W., Northern. Local churches are being trained in using the Knowing Jesus** curriculum. These are all Missional Gap language groups. Pray for a great out-pouring of God’s Spirit during the recordings and among the people so that there will be a great response to the Gospel message in their heart languages. There have been many challenges along the way.(*Language names abbreviated for security. **The Knowing Jesus curriculum uses 61 segments of the classic “JESUS” to teach discipleship principles.)
  • A Partner Pastors’ Conference in So. Asia has been under spiritual attack. This significant event, has drawn 500 pastors from across the country and 53 denominations. This is the first time so many pastors have gathered in this country.
  • Lift up Easter ‘25 outreach plans for reaching people in multiple nations through television, online evangelism and on-the-ground ministry.
  • One of our  CA office colleagues died last week from cancer. Lift up Her husband Glen and their two adult children Emma and Joel.
  • I am seeking to hear from God on two fronts: one is new and the second is ongoing. Pray I will be willing to respond when the Spirit speaks.

Lent began this week. Cru has a good post around it that I wanted to share, and it includes a devotional that you can subscribe to. You can check it out at:
What Is Lent All About, and Why Is It Important?

But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing the Lord’s praise, for he has been good to me.

Psalm 13 (NIV)
