Each summer outreaches are conducted across Europe seeking to engage Gulf Arabs and North Africans. They come to visit and escape the summer heat at home.
Teams are sent to the Ports of key cities across the southern Mediterranean and to London, England. Here is one very encouraging story from a past Ports outreach:
On one hot afternoon a North African man, who I will call Omar, walked up and needed to speak to someone in French. In God’s providence, one of our team members, Julie, knew French. Julie listened as Omar told an amazing story.
He’d had a dream in which he saw a Man in a white robe with a rod
in one hand and a book in His other hand, and He was saying, “Come, come!” Although Omar was from North Africa and a devoted follower of the dominate religion of the area, he said he knew that this Man was Jesus and that Jesus is God. (Heresy to his faith!)
After listening to Omar’s dream, Julie shared the Four Spiritual Laws in French, and right there he prayed of faith to trust Christ as his Savior. It was so exciting for the team to see how God had orchestrated those circumstances—first the dream, then bringing Omar across our path to someone who could share the gospel in French with him! And then the Holy Spirit drawing him to Himself. Glory to God!
Please pray for the summer 2025 outreaches. Two new cities this year are Munich, Germany and Vienna, Austria which are modeled after the London project. Since these visitors live in restricted nations, these outreaches are often the only way to directly connect with them in to begin spiritual conversations.
