PRAISE:
- Overall, it has been a good and fruitful summer, and I have some quality time with a few friends, even with three ministry trips just a few weeks apart.
- Jesus Film Project® has relaunched our animated film project “JESUS” (ASJ) with a new production company (Sunrise Animation Studios of SA) and director (Phil Cunningham) who have another major project (“David”) coming out in the next six months. This new “JESUS” film will be key in reaching audiences under 30, which represents ~ 50% of the world population. A planned release would be at least two+ years away. And the fundraising for the animation project has now passed the two thirds mark and is on track for completion by December 2026.
PRAY:
- For the final confirmation to begin searching for people to fill two new roles on my team, an operations administrator and online acquisition and social media specialist.
- The ministry is making two major data system changeovers in the next few months with ramifications on our core operations, especially during the final quarter of 2025. Pray for these transitions, and that we could obtain an extension from one vendor into early 2026.
- I have a trip to Georgia (9/5-9/11), primarily for leadership team meetings. But the first day will be devoted to a visit with a key partner, Renew World Outreach. Pray for a productive trip.
- Lift up plans for our year-end funding efforts, which are even now being worked on: 1) Gift Catalog, 2) Giving Tuesday 2025 Ethiopia campaign (Dec. 2), 3) Thanking campaign, and 4) Year-end Email Series.
