October Prayer Update

PRAISE:

  • The September trip to Georgia went well. I had a delightful visit with a couple of long-time friends, just ahead of the team meetings. Our visit with Renew World Outreach, a key field partner, was inspiring; that was also prior to our leadership team meetings. Thanks for your prayers.
  • Year-end plans are coming together. Pray for the preparations for our annual “thanking” patron’s project. This effort will involve phone calling, emailing and writing cards to financial ministry partners. Pray for at least 325 staff to participate.

PRAY:

  • Please continue to pray for the staffing needs within my department: 1) a data analytics, financials and associate mail production manager, and for 2) an online acquisition and social media specialist.
  • For wisdom in evaluating an opportunity to make a video focusing on our efforts to help re-evangelize traditional faith communities in Europe.
  • For my final ministry trip of the year to Colorado Springs (10/21-27); pray for managing work and personal responsibilities around the time away.

“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,”
Colossians 1:9-10 (NIV)
