Praise:
Thank God for the completion of the 200th language translation of “Magdalena: Released From Shame.” This latest translation of our women’s film is the Lopka dialect spoken by an estimated 63,600 people primarily in the country of Benin, West Africa.
Pray:
1. For “Live” Translation Recordings: we have 10 to 12 scripts for languages in Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania that are completed. A local Kenyan recording studio has been trained to record the “JESUS” film and will record these languages as soon as they are able to travel. Pray travel opens up this fall.
2. The editing of the Southeast Asian Television and Indigenous Languages partner video. Pray for the national video crew in-country who will be reshooting the re-dramatization of the stories. Ask God for the completion of this step of the process this month. Pray that the project would be finished and released in late November.
3. Pray that I would continue to grow deeper in my relationship with Jesus; in seeking and loving Him, in taking new steps of faith and in trusting Him in greater ways (Jeremiah 33:3).
“My name will be great among the nations, from where the sun rises to where it sets. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to me, because my name will be great among the nations,” says the Lord Almighty.
Malachi 1:11 (NIV)
