A week or so ago, I received an update from the national colleague in Ghana, West Africa. I was so encouraged by what God’s doing there that I wanted to share with you.
Here is his report:
Madina Missions Project
We have now moved from training our partner churches together, to training a church at a time. This is giving us good numbers of people available, but the demand has now exceeded our capacity.
A church that had only two of its members join the mass training, now has 23 members attending the training regularly in their church. We have had three training sessions and one group outreach with this one church (congregation). Individuals also continue to share the gospel by themselves and so far, they have shared the good news with 74 people and have seen 39 pray to receive Christ.
One lady from this church took the initiative and invited her unbelieving neighbors to her home for a Jesus film showing. 27 people showed up and 15 of them invited Christ into their lives.
Training, equipping and mobilizing local believers to reach their family, friends, neighborhoods and beyond is the ultimate goal. Please join in lifting up in prayer the work of film evangelism, follow-up and church planting in this West African nation of nearly 33,000,000 people. Thank you.
