PRAISE:
- Thank God for the very encouraging response to our recent email about the opportunity to provide aid to people through churches in Israel. The outreach also includes the potential of sharing the gospel digitally. In fact, the initial project was not only fully underwritten, but also is helping to pre-fund our next project there with World Concern® coming this summer.
- The premier of the Jesus film for the deaf community was held a few weeks ago in Texas. This is a project that Jesus Film® partnered closely with Deaf Missions in the production of over the last 3 ½ years. It will soon be coming to selected theaters across the country.
PRAY:
- I will be traveling to Arizona during the first part of May visiting friends of the ministry and personal supporters. The trip also includes a three-day spiritual retreat. Pray I will have some quality times connecting with God and people over the nine days.
- The ministry’s television coordinator Tom T. is finalizing plans and contracts for International Children’s Day broadcasts in a number of countries. Pray for the effectiveness outreach on June 1, and for the related follow-up.
- Adam and Sarah serve with our Cru Ministry in Nazareth, an Arab town. He leads the ministry, and she guides their digital media online outreach. They’re having a great ministry amid the war. In his newsletter last week, he mentioned that their three teenage daughters are planning to be baptized in the Jordan River. He asked for prayer for the family’s safety as they travel for this special occasion during war time.
- Lift up two friends and their families, who recently lost their adult children. Eric and Nancy P. lost their son Stephen, 33, and John and Amy D. lost his daughter Natalie, 32.
