Please join in praying for the following:
- With the World Cup of soccer beginning play this week, pray for various in-person and online outreaches. These efforts will use our short films as conversation starters online. In addition, thousands of “watch parties” are planned for in-person evangelism across the globe; from the Americans to Europe and from Africa to Asia. Although this year’s games will be contested in Canada, Mexico and the USA, the world will be watching. Cru, Jesus Film and our partners will be sharing the evangelistic short films online (70+ languages). The goal is to have connections with 50 million people. Please pray; it is a realistic goal given what we saw God do through similar efforts during the Summer Olympics in 2024.
- As a shared in my May postal newsletter, there are numerous summer outreaches across Europe to North African and Gulf Arab visitors. Pray for opportunities to engage these people who otherwise couldn’t be reached in their homelands.
- This month our language dubbing team is recording two languages for a Top 12, restricted country. The dubbing is being done in Europe for security reasons. Pray for the dubbing team and the voice actors to produce quality recordings to help reach two more people groups in their heart language.. [By the way, in the past week the ministry completed the 2,300th language of of the film “JESUS.” To God goes the glory!]
