PRAISE:
- Only 109 languages remain to be produced for Mission 865; a special effort that began in 2010 to record the “JESUS” film into all 865 languages with 50,000+ speakers. Join in praying that—by God’s grace—we will be able to record and finish the production of all 865 languages by August 31, 2027.
- A new wave of projects are coming from Africa as a result of a regional leadership gathering a couple of weeks ago. These projects include film equipment like tablets (see photo above). Our holiday gift catalog will help raise the funds for items like tablets to reach people across sub-Saharan Africa.
PRAY:
- Sunday, November 8th is Diwali the “Festival of Light” in the Hindu world. Pray for the millions across South Asia and beyond to come to know the one true “light,” Jesus.
- For preparations for holiday broadcasts on television and radio to reach people in the 45+ least reached nations. Leadership are asking God for 150 million to watch and/or listen. (Coming into the year-end season, already more than 284 million people have heard the gospel through 2026 broadcasting.)
- For preparations for internet evangelism and social media outreaches utilizing short films around Christmas themes; follow-up will be conducted in 15 languages.
- For our annual outreach to connect with JFP patrons; 11/16 to 12/18. Pray that 346 staff will help connect up with more than 9000 supporters.
- For my work life balanced and essential rest during our busiest season. I will be able to see my family in Northern California over Thanksgiving. Pray for quality connections with my siblings, their children and grandchildren.
